Once accepted, the following document constitutes an agreement made on the date accepted between ScentEssence, a Missiouri corporation, and the Scent Advisor (hereinafter referred to as “Advisor”), identified by the name and address included in the agreement. ScentEssence is engaged in the manufacturing, sales and distribution of Non-Toxic Home Fragrances and related accessories (hereinafter referred to as “products”) under the trademark “ScentEssence” and the Advisor is an Independent Contractor and will not be treated as an employee of ScentEssence for federal tax purposes. The Advisor purchases the products from ScentEssence for resale, thereby establishing a seller/purchaser relationship. ScentEssence is interested in the sale of the products as well as the establishment and maintenance of both the good will and image of ScentEssence and its products. Advisors are equally concerned with the promotion and sale of the products, along with the good will of the ScentEssence name.

Advisor agree(s) to the following:

1.I am of legal age in the state of my residency.
2.I will become a ScentEssence Advisor upon the acceptance of this agreement, and I will, at that time, have the right to sell ScentEssence products in accordance with ScentEssence policies and procedures as the established compensation plan.
3.I acknowledge that as an Independent Contractor, I am self-employed and not an employee of ScentEssence. I understand that I am engaging in an independent business and am not covered by the company under any federal unemployment or worker’s compensation act or for social security benefits. Advisor is also responsible for payment of all federal, state, and local income taxes arising out of Advisor’s activities and for filing of all returns and reports.
4.To represent ScentEssence products and all facts concerning a ScentEssence career in a truthful, sincere, and honest manner, while representing the company in a courteous and professional manner at all times. I agree to refrain from making any misleading income or earning potential claims on behalf of ScentEssence to any third party.
5.To the payment of all orders submitted via the credit/debit card provided to ScentEssence.
6.All orders submitted are subject to the approval of ScentEssenceupon receipt at the Corporate Office.
7.ScentEssence has the right to terminate this agreement with the Advisor at any time with or without cause, by providing me with written notice.
8.I am entitled to terminate my participation in ScentEssence at any time by giving written notification to the company. Voluntary termination is effective upon receipt of such notice by the Corporate Office. Notification of such termination may be forwarded to the affected parties.
9.This Agreement is not intended and shall not be construed to create a relationship of employer – employee, partnership, or joint venture between myself and any Advisor, representative, or sponsor ofScentEssence. I understand that I have no authority to bind the company to any obligation.
10.I hereby agree not to repackage, re-label, copy, or cause to have copied the ScentEssence products.
11.I agree to represent ScentEssence products and all facts concerning a ScentEssence career in a truthful, sincere, and honest manner, while representing the Company in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
